I spent several hours on this last night Nov 1/2 and had to stop. I followed
the instruction from http://en.opensuse.org/openSUSE:Bugreport_YaST as best as
I could. All I can determine is:
1. var/log/YaST2 is empty.
2. The only file that has any info is /boot.msg about 49KB.
3. I can copy /boot.msg to / (memory I presume) but not to the hard drive or
USB stick
4. Could not write or make the USB stick writable. Perhaps because:
5. I carefully follow instructions from http://en.opensuse.org/Live_USB_stick
to write ISO images to my 8GB patriot x/t USB. makes the USB read only.
