It is started, so it does only work until the next reboot. After rebooting ssd does not run anymore. Everything runs well after manual start fo sssd from console via "systemctl start sssd.service". To make it work accross reboots it must be enabled with "systemctl enable sssd.service". Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Install openSUSE 12. RC1 from KDE Live CD 2. Configure sssd 3. Reboot 4. Try to login with an LDAP account Actual Results: Login is not possible. Checking if sssd is running with "systemctl status sssd.service" results in
