Summary: GNOME: Bunch of applications without icons in
applications overview
Classification: openSUSE
Product: openSUSE 12.1
Version: Beta 1
Platform: x86-64
OS/Version: Other
Status: NEW
Severity: Normal
Priority: P5 - None
Component: GNOME
AssignedTo: bnc-team-gnome@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; Linux x86_64; rv:7.0) Gecko/20100101
Firefox/7.0

Operating-System: Default openSUSE 12.1 B1 installed from GNOME LiveCD on
virtualbox (x86-64)

I see a bunch of icon-less applications in the applications overview that were
not there in the applications menu in openSUSE 11.4. These include:-
1. X Calc
2. X Clipboard
3. X Kill
4. X Load
5. X Magnifier
6. X Refresh

I am not sure that these are applications one would be using from the
applications menu, and they server to increase the icon-less and therefors ugly
looking clutter of applications in the menu. Given that they were absent from
earlier installations, even GNOME 3.0 on openSUSE 11.4, could we please have
these items removed from the menu by default?

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1.
2.
3.
