I think postfix 2.8 is likely to break a number of mail systems out there
because a default behaviour was changed. I've already hit this issue on my
production systems, I think openSUSE would be better off by adding
"smtp_dns_resolver_options = res_defnames"
to the default postfix config and thereby maintain backward compatibility with
previous postfix releases. "Basesystem" seems to be the best match for this
report.
