Is this a duplicate of https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=716648. As
I've pointed out there, the bug still persists at 12.1 beta and is, in fact,
worse than at M5. 

However, I'm not too sure how a nouveau bug produces the same - or similar -
problem on my Radeon machine so perhaps it's a whole different problem.
