with intel_idle.max_cstate=0, the simple way to see what acpi_idle
is doing is this:

# dmesg |grep idle
# grep . /sys/devices/system/cpu/cpu0/cpuidle/*/*

Thomas, can you attache the plain-text version of intel_idle.c
that is being used here?
