It seems to happen only when YaST is given a mixed task, e.g. delete some packages, install some others, update yet others. Reproducible: Sometimes Steps to Reproduce: 1. Go to YaST, open "Software Management". 2. Give it several tasks: delete packages, add packages, update packages. 3. Hit "Accept". Actual Results: The progress bar (overall progress) is not informative, usually in the sense that the process finishes before the progress bar reaches 100%. (No, it's not just very fast because installing is faster than downloading. Rather, it seems to allocate % space for the downloading of packages it does not need to download.) Notably, when downloading delta-RPMs, it seems the progress bar does not move. Once I managed to get "Downloaded 28 of 24 packages", see screenshot attached; this involved vendor changes for software I already had installed. Expected Results: (The progress bar could be more accurate.) -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.
