I had the same problem with 12.1 M5. Cause: The firmware of my wifi card was
missing. Usually the first system update (zypper up) installs the missing
firmwares (and other things). This time, with 12.1 M5, I needed to do a "zypper
dup" to get these updates. Before I did the "zypper dup" I added the Packman
repository.
My wifi hardware (lspci):
