I have tried this on three other server models, and they do not experience this problem. Installation through DVD also works. I noticed that on PowerEdge R710s, it names the ethernet interfaces like em1, em2, etc, instead of the old eth0, eth1. This is probably due to the kernel bump. I'm suspecting that this could have to do with the DHCP / PXE problem I'm seeing, because on the other three servers, they are named eth0, eth1, etc. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Set up PXE server with SLES 11 SP 2 beta 6 2. Start installation from PowerEdge R710 3. Actual Results: The kernel and initrd load at the start of the installation, but when the installer attempts to configure the ethernet interface through DHCP, it fails immediately, and then says the repository cannot be found. This problem did not exist with this host on beta 4, but does on 5 and 6 Expected Results: It should configure the interface and allow the installation to start. -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.
