there is also one point - my volume controls (keyboard) stopped working
without
gmixer - so when I installed xfce4-panel-plugin-mixer I have to hover the icon
and use my mouse wheel to change volume. Is it possible proper key bindings to
handle volume up/down/mute keys ?
Have you tried xfce4-volumed for handling volume keys?
Getting a usable mixer applet is on my todo-list, however xfce4-mixer suffers
from some severe usability issues, it has no slider widget and can only be used
with a mousewheel and it provides no automatic default configuration but must
be manually configured before first usage.
