The default which is set in openSUSE is 1 day; I found that recently. I don't know what happens around the time the address is changed. Is it kept around for a while? But still the default is now, very recently changed, to have privacy enabled, which may cause problems. I would suggest to have the privacy set on laptops and not on desktops and servers. Maybe that parameter use_tempaddr should be set to 1 on desktops and 2 on laptops. Burden the admin is quite relative, if he/she does not understand it, the default should be sufficient. With some explanation the admin should be able to make a proper choice. I found configuring the mail server with YaST very complicated, compared to configuring the network even with this complication is still, IMHO, easy. -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.
