E.g. I could split off the specific stuff from /etc/X11/xdm/prepare
and write out specific scripts for appending specific environment
to /run/systemd/displaymanager ...
Nevertheless the way to go is systemd
Ok, since this affects a package which I'm involved in I will look into this.
