This is not the right way to fix it. As stated in the upstream report, you
need
a plat-linux3 directory in the Python library dir, because there are other
platform-specific files used by the sys module.

I have no directory linux2, only linux3
(mydistr: opensuse 12.1 x86_64 milestone-3)
what are my steps? install the old libraries?
or something I do not understand ...
