Add me in CC for remembering :
The two big things : Novell should be replaced by Attachmate or SuSE AG ?
Xen : isn't kvm more/same important as xen
Picture need a strong refresh : and need to be main theme adjusted
(which we don't have too yet)
Jos : It's a bit of duplicate work if we move that xml file in git then send
the patch to Karl.
To get it local a simple svn co of the repository, and you get it then make
modification, then create a simple patch for it. (Yet another thing to learn)
but easy as
go to your working openSUSE folder
mkdir svn
cd svn
svn co http://svn.opensuse.org/svn/yast/trunk/slide-show/ yast2-trunk-slideshow
(process to the dowload, quick, easy & light : only 6.7MB)
Edit the xml file with kate for example
kate SuSELinux/slideshow.xml
Modify what you want then check the diff with upstream repo
(for example I've added Thunderbird in it)
svn diff slideshow.xml
Index: slideshow.xml

--- slideshow.xml (révision 64761)

messaging, openSUSE features easy to use IM clients that support all
of the popular protocols: AIM, Google Talk, Jabber, MSN, Yahoo!,
which can be exported ( has to be confirm by Karl )
svn diff > /tmp/fix_ugly_bug.diff
Then mailed to Karl as attachement.
Karl :
Is there any ideas to move svn.opensuse.org to a git repository (git allow a
simpler way to work on branches, and make the process more easy for marketing
people)
Shouldn't the folder SuSELinux be rename to openSUSE ?
Can you confirm to us that kind of process could work ?
