I've a similar issue on an HP Pavillion with a Synaptics Touchpad but the other
way round...
[ 1.451558] Synaptics Touchpad, model: 1, fw: 6.2, id: 0x1a0b1, caps:
0xa04713/0x200000/0x0
[ 1.512265] input: SynPS/2 Synaptics TouchPad as
/devices/platform/i8042/serio1/input/input1
The left mouse button of a connected ubs mouse stops to work irregulary.
There are no messages in the log apart from the following
[234279.117918] psmouse.c: TouchPad at isa0060/serio1/input0 lost sync at byte
4
[234279.119622] psmouse.c: TouchPad at isa0060/serio1/input0 lost sync at byte
1
[234279.127911] psmouse.c: TouchPad at isa0060/serio1/input0 - driver
resynched.
Usb mouse doesn't work UNTIL I press the left "mouse" button of the touchpad,
after that the mouse works again!!
It seems that maybe a resynch of touchpad will disable mouse events forward to
kde
or something similar...
How can we debug this issue (enable debugging of driver, mor kde logging
output...)
