https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=702969 https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=702969#c0 Summary: gramofile compile needs -m32 or some such Classification: openSUSE Product: openSUSE 11.4 Version: Final Platform: x86-64 OS/Version: openSUSE 11.4 Status: NEW Severity: Normal Priority: P5 - None Component: Other AssignedTo: bnc-team-screening@forge.provo.novell.com ReportedBy: jnelson-suse@jamponi.net QAContact: qa@suse.de Found By: --- Blocker: --- User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; Linux x86_64; rv:5.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/5.0 I noticed that when I tried to use gramofile on a 64 bit host, that it fails utterly to read any .wav file. According to the README: http://www.opensourcepartners.nl/~costar/gramofile/README this is due to a 64-bit incompatability at the source level. So, I installed the 32 bit version and it works fine. I suggest, perhaps, that compiling with -m32 or something like that might work to alleviate (mask) the problems on 64 bit hosts.
