But desktop size remains 1920x1080 which results in mouse cursor going of of the screen. Visible area is 1280x800 but if you do a screenshot you get image 1920x1080 with black areas in the right and bottom (see attachment) Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 0. Set your laptop to native resolution 1280x800 1. Connect FULL-HD 1920x1080 monitor to laptop over HDMI 2. Display Settings window pops up 3. Configure clone mode with new resolution 1920x1080 (laptop remains 1280x800 but show only left upper part of the desktop which is OK) 4. Now disconnect external monitor 5. Again Display Settings window appears with restored resolution 1280x800 6. Apply new settings, resolution resores and Desktop is fully viewed on laptop 7. try to move mouse to the right side of the desktop - it is gone. The same occurs at the bottom 8.
