The xrandr outputs indicate, that the external display was regogniced and connected correctly, the Monitor only shows: "Input Signal out of Range Change Settings to 1920x1200 - 60 Hz" The Laptopdisplay works just fine. Xrandr also reports something about a TV1 output, which doesn't exist. The Laptop in question is a HP 2730p with a GM45 Chipset. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Attach Monitor 2. xrandr --output VGA1 --auto or xrandr --auto or.... 3.
