Hello, 

When I do make menuconfig I see this message :

Unable to find the ncurses libraries or the
 *** required header files.
 *** 'make menuconfig' requires the ncurses libraries.
 *** 
 *** Install ncurses (ncurses-devel) and try again

But when I do zypper in ncurses I see this message :
'ncurses' is niet gevonden in de pakketnamen. Proberen in eigenschappen.
'libncurses6' die 'ncurses' levert is al geïnstalleerd.
'libncurses5' die 'ncurses' levert is al geïnstalleerd.

So it looks like ncurses is installed.

When I do zypper in ncurses-devel I see this message :

Gegevens van installatiebron laden...
Lezen van geïnstalleerde pakketten...
'ncurses-devel' is al geïnstaleerd.
Geen kandidaat voor bijwerken van 'ncurses-devel-5.7-14.1.i586'. De hoogst
beschikbare versie is al geïnstalleerd.

So that one is also installed.
