--- Comment #10 from Frans Leerink 2011-04-29 21:45:08 UTC ---
Hello Jiri,
I have removed "compat-wireless-kmp-default" with the command (rpm -e
compat-wireless-kmp-default) and rebooted the system.
Afterthat I have run as root modprobe -r p54pci followed by modprobe p54pci.
The result is that KNetworkmanager showed the Wireless-Home connection as
connecting and waiting on security. But confirming a number of times the
security pop-up screen does not change the situation - still no connection. So
the situation is the same as at the beginning of this bug story.
I don't know whether this is what you ask me to do in comment 8. (I didnot
receive an (clarifying) answer on my comment 9)
IF IT IS NOT WHAT YOU ASK ME TO DO, PLEASE LET ME KNOW.
Regards,
Frans
PS What can I do to prevent the need for the 2 modprobe commannds after every
shutdown and restart cycle of the system, after a reinstall of
compat-wireless-kmp-wireless.?
