https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=687997 https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=687997#c0 Summary: Missing "repositories" in YaST2 module list from command line invocation Classification: openSUSE Product: openSUSE 11.4 Version: Final Platform: x86-64 OS/Version: openSUSE 11.4 Status: NEW Severity: Normal Priority: P5 - None Component: YaST2 AssignedTo: bnc-team-screening@forge.provo.novell.com ReportedBy: andrea.turrini@gmail.com QAContact: jsrain@novell.com Found By: --- Blocker: --- User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; Linux x86_64; rv:2.0.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/4.0 The "repositories" module is not available in the list of modules you can obtaing typing at command line: yast2 <tab> <tab>. It appears as "inst_source". This problem is similar to bug#621848 but it is different since this bug is due to the content of /usr/share/applications/YaST2/sw_source.desktop that contains two non-matching ways to start repositories module: X-SuSE-YaST-Call=inst_source Exec=xdg-su -c "/sbin/yast2 repositories" The first one is used when the module list is generated; the second one is the command actually performed. Moreover, looking at /usr/share/YaST2/clients/inst_source.ycp it seems that inst_source is only an alias for repositories, the real module. I think that the X-SuSE-YaST-Call=inst_source should be replaced by X-SuSE-YaST-Call=repositories since in the description of the module there are no references to inst_source but only to software repositories.
