The software management tools do not achieve an update suggestion on my
openSUSE 11.4 system in a reasonable time frame once again.

"Information for package zypper:
..
Version: 1.5.3-3.2
..
Status: out-of-date (version 1.4.8-0.2.4 installed)
.."

The following command does not complete after hours here.

Sonne:~ # zypper up zypper
Loading repository data...
Reading installed packages...
Resolving package dependencies...


I would appreciate therefore a way for feedback display if more progress will
become possible because of potential identification of "blocking" software
components. I assume that components for Perl and Python are a challenge for
the desired upgrade completion at the moment.
