kernel: [ 54.089738] [drm:radeon_dvi_detect] *ERROR* DVI-I-1: probed a monitor but no|invalid EDID
Even with this we shouldn't get the crash. Besides one monitor is probed successfully. The crash happens later when initializing drm.
Broken monitor? Well the idea would be to install -debuginfo/-debugsource packages of xorg-x11-server, xorg-x11-driver-videoand some more to get a more useful backtrace.
This can be done either by zypper install xorg-x11-server-debuginfo or zypper install -C debuginfo(build-id)=$(pbuildid /usr/bin/Xorg | cut -d' ' -f 2) The latter makes sure one get the debuginfo that fits the binary. One may have to do a zypper mr -e repo-debug (hopefully this repo is already in the repo list). I'm not sure exactly where the script to start X and run gdb can be found, though.
