https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=685446 https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=685446#c0 Summary: YaST2 Control Center (qt) has strange behavior on highglighting modules when window is scrolled Classification: openSUSE Product: openSUSE 11.4 Version: Final Platform: x86-64 OS/Version: openSUSE 11.4 Status: NEW Severity: Minor Priority: P5 - None Component: YaST2 AssignedTo: bnc-team-screening@forge.provo.novell.com ReportedBy: andrea.turrini@gmail.com QAContact: jsrain@novell.com Found By: --- Blocker: --- Created an attachment (id=423410) --> (http://bugzilla.novell.com/attachment.cgi?id=423410) Screenshot of the problem User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; Linux x86_64; rv:2.0.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/4.0 If you use the YaST2 control center (qt) inside a small window, it is possible to scroll the window in order to see all modules. At the same time, when you move your mouse pointer on an element, it is highlighted and an additional sentence appears as description of the element. If the pointer is currently in the bottom part of the window, you can use the mouse wheel to scroll the window content and to see other YaST modules. As a result of the scroll, provided it is not so big to force old highlighted module to disappear from the window, now there are two highlighted modules: the old one (Software repositories) and the one that is currently below the pointer (Joystick), as shown in the attached screenshot. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Launch YaST2 control center (qt) 2. Use the mouse pointer to highlight a component in the lower part of the window (no click, just highlight) 3. scroll down using the mouse wheel Actual Results: Two elements are highlighted: the one before the scroll and the one currently below the pointer Expected Results: Only the component below the pointer should be highlighted. I am using KDE 4.6.1 from KDE:/Release:/46 repository but YaST belongs to repo-oss and repo-update. -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.
