https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=682388 https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=682388#c0 Summary: PHP crashes using MySQL PDO Classification: openSUSE Product: openSUSE 11.4 Version: Final Platform: x86-64 OS/Version: openSUSE 11.4 Status: NEW Severity: Major Priority: P5 - None Component: Apache AssignedTo: bnc-team-apache@forge.provo.novell.com ReportedBy: silvio.ginter@volz-itsc.de QAContact: qa@suse.de Found By: --- Blocker: --- Created an attachment (id=421201) --> (http://bugzilla.novell.com/attachment.cgi?id=421201) error-log of Apache User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 6.1; WOW64; rv:2.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/4.0 After upgrading to openSUSE 11.4 from 11.3, several PHP scripts crash in favor because they are using an MySQL query. I assume, it's related to the mysqlnd library used in the php-mysql-5.3.5+ packages, as of php-mysql-5.3.3, that was bundled in original openSUSE 11.3 the error doesn't occur. After upgrading the PHP Package from here: http://download.opensuse.org/repositories/server:/php/openSUSE_11.3/ the error also occurs under openSUSE 11.3 The main difference between these versions, is the mysql connector library used. In the PHP 5.3.3 release, the original MySQL Client library is used, whereas in PHP 5.3.5+ the mysqlnd is in place. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. configure apache/php use mysql and pdo extension 2. run small script as attached, using an mysql connection via PDO 3. have a look on std error_log of apache Actual Results: PHP child processes hang up, resulting in the browser never gets to an end, loading the page -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.
