By booting with the installation DVD, I must wait very long. After the
installation yast menu look for system hardware, no hard disk with paritions
are found.
I have an elitegroup mainboard with VIA chipset VT82C586A and VT6420 SATA
Controller are loaded, but no device is bind to him.
Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1.Boot from DVD
2.Wait a long time
3.In Yast Menu no hard disks are found
Actual Results:
I can not install or upgrade to openSuse 11.4.
Expected Results:
I think, problems with kernel modules for via chipsets or ext4 problems.
Test problems with the same hardware.
1x Mainborad Elitegroup K8 Photon
2x Hard Disk Samsung SP0812C Sata
