There is no mouse
You mean there is no mouse pointer on the screen?
No: I mean that OS hangs, but everybody ask as if it just were a X session
crash.
If you lock the session manually, does it happen too?
No it does not happen.
Ok, does it happen if you boot into runlevel 3 and close the lid? I.e. without
KDE.
No: either entering to run level 3 through GRUB at boot, or down leveling
through telinit/init 3, when I close the lid this issue does not happen.
I think it will be healthy to upgrade to 11.4 Final, performing a clean
install. I delayed in doing so because it is so saturated the bandwidth that
until yesterday I got 75%-80% slower downloads (15-20 hours lasting), so I
postponed the downloading of the Final release.
