First off, don't pass model=generic. It's definitely a wrong option. If you
want to use the auto-parser, pass model=auto instead.
There are a few problems in your case:
- The driver takes model=6stack-dig as default, since this mobo was equipped on
some desktop machines (it seems).
- The model 6stack-dig doesn't do the auto-muting per design; so it's no bug,
but a feature.
- If you still need the auto-muting, you'd need to select a different model
manually.
- Usually the BIO auto-parser (model=auto) works for the auto-muting. But in
your case, it won't as is, because the BIOS doesn't set up the pins correctly.
It sets as a line-out to a speaker-pin.
