https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=679216 https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=679216#c0 Summary: Upgraded RC1 to GM, yet release tags still say "RC1" Classification: openSUSE Product: openSUSE 11.4 Version: Final Platform: Other OS/Version: SuSE Other Status: NEW Severity: Normal Priority: P5 - None Component: Basesystem AssignedTo: bnc-team-screening@forge.provo.novell.com ReportedBy: carlos.e.r@opensuse.org QAContact: qa@suse.de Found By: --- Blocker: --- I installed this test partition as 11.4 RC1. Then I upgraded (z. dup) to RC2. Tonight I upgraded to GM, after changing the repos to 11.4 final, and: Minas-Anor:~ # cat /etc/SuSE-brand openSUSE VERSION = 11.4 Minas-Anor:~ # cat /etc/SuSE-release openSUSE 11.4 RC 1 (x86_64) VERSION = 11.4 CODENAME = Celadon Minas-Anor:~ # cat /etc/issue Welcome to openSUSE 11.4 "Celadon" RC 1 - Kernel \r (\l). Minas-Anor:~ # rpm -qf /etc/issue openSUSE-release-11.4-1.36.x86_64 In YaST this rpm shows red (after disabling the DVD repo), so I upgrade it, and now the info is correct. How come that zypper dup did not upgrade that important package? Looking manually, I see several packages in red: cron, cronie... and some are no longer in the repos (cups-drivers). I would put a list if I knew how to list them all. -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.
