windows 7 64 and windows xp 32 and fedora are extremely slow in booting,
sluggish performance; 
It looks like any IO is so slow that GUI performance is ok but halted whenever
a few kbytes are needed.

when loading OS, IO does not exceed 1 mbyte per second......

Steps to Reproduce:
1.install and see for yourself.

Actual Results:  
load any OS in virtualbox and experience the slow performance

Expected Results:  
should have worked as always, good performance and responsive interaction.


workaround:

install Oracle VM virtualbox 4.0.0 r69151 for suse x86_64 11.3
on opensuse 11.4 and all your problems are gone......

the client virtualbox software inside the OS is still on 4.0.4, so that is
apparently not the issue.
