Classification: openSUSE Product: openSUSE 11.4 Version: Final Platform: i686 OS/Version: SuSE Other Status: NEW Severity: Normal Priority: P5 - None Component: YaST2 AssignedTo: bnc-team-screening@forge.provo.novell.com ReportedBy: hiller@mpia-hd.mpg.de QAContact: jsrain@novell.com Found By: --- Blocker: --- User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; Linux x86_64; rv:2.0b12) Gecko/20110222 Firefox/4.0b12 I have made a new install of opensuse 11.4 i686. When trying to configure DSL with yast I got the the message that linux-atm-lib had to be installed. But it was nowhere, neither on the install DVD, nor in the repostories. Workaround: I installed the linux-atm-lib rpm from opensuse 11.3 Therefore libatm1, linux-atm and linux-atm-devel have to be removed. But after that I could configure DSL and it works. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1.configure DSL with yast (network devices -> dsl) 2. 3. Actual Results: yast2 -> network devices -> dsl -> add -> ppp over ethernet -> next -> define dsl provider -> next -> define connection parameters -> next -> ok *** no it happens Expected Results: message about missing linux-atm-lib. DSL could not be configured. It worked, as I wrote above when I installed the package from opensuse 11.3. But I had to uninstall libatm1, linux-atm and linux-atm-devel -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.
