Trying to install 11.4RC2 in VmPlayer 3.1.1 Seems to work corrrectly but some issues with vm-tools. 1. In Dmesg : --------------- [190.800616] vmtoolsd[9264]: segfault at 0 ip b4e10ac2 sp bfd49de0 error 4 in libunity.so[b4df000+3d000] 2. Shared Folders : ---------------------- I am trying to install shared folders. Not sure how it works, but I guess vmhgfs.ko need to be loaded. When I try modprobe vmhgs, it fails : error : -1 Invalide parameters. In dmesg: vmhgfs: no symbol version for VMCIDatagram_Send ... VMCI module is loaded. 3. vmmemctl : ---------------------- Also tried /etc/init.d/vmtoolsd start in a shell : Module vmmemctl not found .
