Yes, it works perfectly. However, I'm afraid (but as a layman I'm not sure)
that still there is something to prevent it (and probably other hardware, too)
from working really out of the box:

Is it really invalid? It didn't get installed automatically for me, despite I
have a hardware which needs it :(
