FYI:
The patch does not work for me (at least the 3.1-ESV variant) as it is
on SLES-11-SP1 vs. SLES-11-SP1 with a patched package installed on both.

While _renew_ (use a short lease, e.g. 60 sec), the following messages
are shown on the server:

(Also when dhcpcd (unpatched) is used) on the client side, the bad UDP
checksum message is logged on [dhcpcd only] whie every renew request
response (and the client fails into rebind state then)...
