Summary: cryptsetup init scripts stop after one false password
entry during boot (regression)
Classification: openSUSE
Product: openSUSE 11.4
Version: Factory
Platform: x86-64
OS/Version: Other
Status: NEW
Severity: Normal
Priority: P5 - None
Component: Basesystem
AssignedTo: bnc-team-screening@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
ReportedBy: thardeck@xxxxxxxxxx
QAContact: qa@xxxxxxx
Found By: Component Test
Blocker: ---

If you have a LUKS encrypted partition which is mounted during boot with
crypttab you have only one try to enter the password correctly since openSUSE
11.4.

With openSUSE 11.3 or if you activate systemd in 11.4 you have the usual three
tries.

Mounting the encrypted partition with the standard init system takes also much
longer (around 10 to 20 seconds) since openSUSE 11.4. This also doesn't happen
with systemd so it seems that the relevant init scripts have changed since
11.3.
