The thread https://bugzilla.kernel.org/show_bug.cgi?id=15289
is related to AMD Phenom(tm) processor. If Andreas and Elmar have
Intel processors they can report and provide their details too.
Maybe that problem only looks similar.

Elmar, do you mean that your problem started with "OpenSUSE 10.3"?
Which is the last "good" kernel then?
