with, so far, yast2-qt, google-earth and hplip the menu bar is visible, yet not
functional.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. start any of yast2_swsingle (qt), google earth or hplip
2. try to activate any of the entries of the menu bar.

Actual Results:
nothing

Expected Results:
drop down lists to appear, offering choices.
