Oh dear...
echo -ne "HELLO 0.0.0\nREGENERATE MOTD krommer.arch.suse.de"
/dev/tcp/music.arch.suse.de/5555sends a command to the orthos server which triggers another script to get
executed remotely on this machine. This script tries to mount all partitions
from /proc/partitions and searches for valid installations to spread a motd
like:
# This machine is reserved by...
This explains the file system activity with above command :)
I am going to close this one invalid and will open a bug related to the file
system.
The oops in kdump case is another issue which looks related to IOMMU and trying
to copy IO back-uped memory. I'll open another bug and tell AMD about it...
Sorry for the noise.
