--- Comment #7 from Raymond Wooninck 2011-01-30 13:37:25 UTC ---
Dilbert,
Please see my comments on the upstream bug report that you mentioned in comment
#5. With the packaging we are not doing anything else then just to build
against system libraries to prevent other issues. However comment #27 of that
same bugreport indicates that also a different repo has the issue, as that I
can't remember that we ever that exact version.
If Google can identify which specific libraries are involved, I can see if we
are using the system ones or the ones that comes with Chromium.
I know that an end-user will not be interested in the things behind the
screens, but the way that Google is developing Chrome/Chromium, I wouldn't be
surprised that one day they even going to include the Linux kernel itself as
that they want to have some features which will never be accepted by the
standard kernel.
So I will close this bug report here, with the indication that this is now
dealt with upstream in bugreport
http://code.google.com/p/google-web-toolkit/issues/detail?id=5740#c22. As soon
as I have some answers there, then I will see if we can adjust the openSUSE
package.
