compcache 0.6.2-21.1 on openSUSE 11.3 x86_64 works:

rzscontrol /dev/ramzswap0 -s
will show the statistics for compressed ram device 0.

The /etc/init.d/boot.compcache init script will start, stop and restart
the compressed ram devices and use the settings
in /etc/sysconfig/compcache.
