Yes, I have this problem too.
32bit opensuse
Nvidia graphics
KDE 4.5.
I5
Unusable with the latest 260 Nvidia driver KDE starts but screen is blank
except for krunner messages that keep displaying for ever. Reverting to Nvidia
256... and then all's well.
