https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=663258 https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=663258#c0 Summary: HP N110 netbook: pageup/down does not work Classification: openSUSE Product: openSUSE 11.3 Version: Final Platform: 32bit OS/Version: openSUSE 11.3 Status: NEW Severity: Normal Priority: P5 - None Component: Usability AssignedTo: bnc-team-screening@forge.provo.novell.com ReportedBy: roeland@linux-it.nl QAContact: qa@suse.de Found By: --- Blocker: --- User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux i686; en-US; rv:1.9.2.12) Gecko/20101026 SUSE/3.6.12-0.7.1 Firefox/3.6.12 The N110 laptop from HP onder windows uses the FN-arrow keys to do a page up and page down. Under openSUSE 11.4 and 11.4 milestone 5, it is only working as arrow up an arrow down, instead of a whole page Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. create a testfile with a few pages of text 2. use less to lok at file 3. navigate up down with fn-arrow up/down Actual Results: looks like fn key does not work as the laptop reacts the same with the arrw keys. Expected Results: pageup/page down Other functions involving the fn key, like fn-f1 and so, work. e.g. ctrl-alt-fn-f1 gives me the vc1. Obviously without the fn key it does not work if the scan key code program is used, no difference is seen between arrow up keywith or without the fn key pressed. In fact showkey does not show anything happening at all. (this gives me a feeling that it's bios related..?) there is no difference between X and a VC in this case. -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.
