This use to work fine, but apparently something in the latest updates I did
broke the ability of KDE's device handler/notifier to detect when I plug in my
USB Passport drive and automount it under /media. I do have the selections
under Automounting - Enable automatic mounting of removable media and
Automatically mount removable media when attached both checked.
Since the drive is labled My Passport I have also tried to check it in the list
for Device Overrides - Automount on Attach
lsusb does report the drive when plugged in. I can manually automount the drive
but that is an unsatisfactory solution for my wife!
Using version 4.5.90 (4.6 RC1) of KDE. openSuSE 11.2
Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1.Plug in a USB Passport drive
2.
3.
Actual Results:
Nothing happens.
Expected Results:
I expect it to detect the drive and automount it.
