https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=658847 https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=658847#c0 Summary: Remove stupid (crock) RPMLINT warnings Classification: openSUSE Product: openSUSE.org Version: unspecified Platform: Other OS/Version: SuSE Other Status: NEW Severity: Normal Priority: P5 - None Component: BuildService AssignedTo: bnc-team-screening@forge.provo.novell.com ReportedBy: johannesobermayr@gmx.de QAContact: adrian@novell.com Found By: --- Blocker: --- User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux i686; de-DE) AppleWebKit/533.3 (KHTML, like Gecko) rekonq Safari/533.3 Only in openSUSE:Factory: W: suse-kde4-missing-dependency kde4_knotification_requires The package builds against a KDE4 related library, but is missing the runtime dependency macro. please add the suggested macro to the (sub-)package listing in the spec file. Introduced with: http://gitorious.org/opensuse/rpmlint-checks/commit/0a8df33885065754b5f682e0... Two things: 1. %kde4_knotification_requires macro does not exist. So this warning is crock. 2. 's:runtime dependency:runtime dependency:g' and 's:please add:Please add:g' since text is also used for %kde4_runtime_dependency check ... W: no-manual-page-for-binary Each executable in standard binary directories should have a man page. This one is also moronism when it is related to GUI executables (since they usually own documentation). Or would you like to force e.g. KDE developers creating a man page for each app? Reproducible: Always -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.
