https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=656554 https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=656554#c2 --- Comment #2 from Henryk Hecht <nvbugs@hhecht.e4ward.com> 2010-12-01 05:16:23 UTC --- I do not have 11.4 or factory available at this time. My request in bug #641045 was that any arguments that should be supplied, e.g. in windowmanager.desktop not be discarded by sys.xsession. If you have: Exec=/usr/bin/windowmanager arg1 arg2 arg3 it be run as /usr/bin/windowmanager arg1 arg2 arg3, not as just /usr/bin/windowmanager (dropping the arguments silently) as is the case in 11.3 and before. wmii, for instance, requires this, and it is anyway rather mysterious behavior to drop arguments several files into the process. Perhaps I was unclear on this point. As I have not seen the patch that implemented this, I cannot directly comment on it; it sounds as if something different is happening. If it would be helpful, I can take a look at factory. -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.
