Summary: RHEL kernel module packages don't build (possibly due
to a RHEL repo update?)
Classification: openSUSE
Product: openSUSE.org
Version: unspecified
Platform: i586
OS/Version: RHEL 5
Status: NEW
Severity: Major
Priority: P5 - None
Component: BuildService
AssignedTo: bnc-team-screening@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
ReportedBy: andavis@xxxxxxxxxx
QAContact: adrian@xxxxxxxxxx
Found By: Third Party Developer/Partner
Blocker: ---
Project and package home:andavis:microsoft-hyper-v fails the RHEL5 build w/ the
error:
make: *** %{kernel_source: No such file or directory. Stop.
This package is an exact clone of isv:microsoft:microsoft-hyper-v which
successfully built for RHEL5 on 2010-08-31.
The kernel_source macro is in /usr/lib/redhat/macros.
I think we ran into a problem like this previously on the RHEL repos. Is it
possible that the problem has occured again due to a RHEL repo update? Or is
there a project-specific flag I need to set? I don't see any differences in
the raw configs. Thx.
