It is not error, it is just warning and it is only potential problem if bios support only lba24 which cannot address such address.
No, it is NOT only a warning! I am not the first user that writes here, that the system does NOT boot into Linux after "installation" - not even show the GRUB menu. Is it so difficult to read, what people write here? But I bet, I too do not get an answer when I ask: Why then does the old 11.2 install IN THE SAME PARTITION, ON THE SAME COMPUTER without problems. What other proof is necessary to blame it on the 11.3 installation routine?
Hi, this message is only warning and something else which may be related (but also maybe not ) breaks booting and as I say without logs I cannot investigate what really happen. My expectation why it stop working is that something change in bootloader between these two releases, but there is more changes. So still please attach logs so I can find what happen ( because if problem is only in lba24 grub install fail ), so disc size should not break booting. -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.
