And whenever I go to Configure Desktop-->Mouse and Keyboard-->Touchpad it says that Synaptic drivers are too old or too new to be identified. (*I have Alps pointing device for Vaio installed.*) Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: Steps to Reproduce: 1. open the mouse & touchpad configuration dialog in the kde systemsettings 2. go to Touchpad 3. Message."Synaptic drivers are too old or too new to be identified." 1.Open sound mixer. 2.Sound / Alsamixer is at full blast. 3.No sound. Actual Results: touchpad is not working at all. sound is not coming even though volume is at full blast. Expected Results: Touchpad should work with all its facilities.
