I installed yast2-kdump, crash, etc.. and then enabled kdump and mkinitrd recompiled for kdump. I booted the damn thing and it wouldn't crash any more!!! I messed with it for a hour and still no crash. I don't have any more time to mess with this right now. I'm loaded 2.6.35 from kernel:/head and moving on. There is still an issue with 2.6.34, but after devoting the kdump time to it and no crash, I'm throwing in the towel and closing the bug. I'll reopen if I go back to 2.6.34 and have time to chase this issue further. Thank you for your help.
Well crap, I can't close my own bugs anymore -- that's new, anyway, you will need to close it or give me back the permission to close my own bugs again. Thanks.
