Nothing more, also after 3 minutes.
Hm, I'm no expert on USB. Maybe Greg may help? In sum, kernel-default resets the device after 20 seconds since it was plugged in and usb_storage is attached followed by /dev/sr1 creation. Kernel-desktop doesn't reset the device, so it doesn't work (no /dev/sr1). It it a special device, it needs to be eject'ed to modem device to appear. kernel-default: usb 1-1: new high speed USB device using ehci_hcd and address 2 usb 1-1: New USB device found, idVendor=19d2, idProduct=2000 usb 1-1: New USB device strings: Mfr=2, Product=1, SerialNumber=3 usb 1-1: Product: ZTE CDMA Technologies MSM usb 1-1: Manufacturer: ZTE,Incorporated usb 1-1: SerialNumber: P673A2VDF_MS Initializing USB Mass Storage driver... scsi2 : usb-storage 1-1:1.0 usbcore: registered new interface driver usb-storage [ 199.488770] USB Mass Storage support registered. <20s delay> [ 221.928033] usb 1-1: reset high speed USB device using ehci_hcd and address 2 scsi 2:0:0:0: CD-ROM ZTE USB SCSI CD-ROM 2.31 PQ: 0 ANSI: 2 sr1: scsi-1 drive -- Configure bugmail: http://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.
